There are covered picnic tables in each dog enclosure, a multipurpose field, an adventure playground area with a zipline, fitness stations, benches, restrooms, and covered picnic areas. When you are at your West Lancaster home, here are a few tips for keeping your dog cool. First, keep your dog hydrated. Provide plenty of water and put ice cubes in the bowl when it’s really hot. Also, keep your indoor temperature down. If you don’t have air conditioning, put frozen water bottles near your dog’s bed and elevate the bed to allow for a breeze. Other tips include giving your dog frozen treats or toys and adjusting your walking schedule. You don’t want to take your dog out when the day’s heat is at its peak. Last, consider setting up a pool in your own backyard. If your dog is new to swimming, gradually introduce him or her to the water.
